O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent University to consider the petitioner for appointment to the post of Semi Professional Assistant/Professional Assistant. 2.It is seen from records that the petitioner participated in the selection conducted by the respondent University in the year 2010. She had also attended the interview in the year 2011. Thereafter, she has for the first time, made a representation in October 2019. The petitioner has remained silent for nearly nine years and the petitioner has also not taken any steps to follow it up with the respondent University. The relief claimed by the petitioner is hit by latches. Therefore, no useful purpose will be served in directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner.

4.In the result, this writ petition stands dismissed. No Costs.
