] This petition is filed to condone the delay of 78 days in filing the Criminal Appeal against the judgment of conviction and sentence dated 08.09.2023 in S.C.No.223 of 2022 on the file of the learned I-Additional Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.

2. This Court is convinced with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. Since the delay has been satisfactorily explained, the delay is condoned and this petition is allowed.
