2. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents informed us that the detenue herself made a statement on 14.01.2018 stating that on account of a frequent torturous activity of her husband/petitioner, she left the matrimonial home and she left the home at her own volition and not at the instance of anybody. Hence, there is no illegal detention of the detenue in the present Habeas Corpus Petition.

3. In view of the fact that the detenue herself had given a statement before the Inspector of Police, S.7 Madipakkam Police Station, Chennai, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present Habeas Corpus Petition.
