The petitioner/A2 in S.C.No.362 of 2023, now pending trial before the I Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai, seeks bail. Originally, Crime No.231 of 2022 had been registered for the offences under Sections 294(b), 341, 326, 307 r/w 34, 392, 394 r/w 397 of IPC. Originally, a Non-bailable warrant had been issued against the petitioner on 11.12.2023 and the petitioner had been remanded to custody on 10.01.2024.
2.It is stated that the matter is now posted for cross-examination of the Investigating Officer. If the learned counsel for the accused co-operate and after cross-examination of Investigating Officer and also participate during the questioning under Section 313 Cr.P.C., if they have any defence witnesses promptly produce them, then the learned I Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai, may endeavour to dispose of the case in S.C.No.362 of 2023 by 29.02.2024. 3.Placing the above observations for disposal of the case, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
