O R D E R

The order under challenge in the present writ petition is to renew the "C" form licence for the period ended on 31.08.2004. Apparently, the period has lapsed, and as such no fruitful orders can be passed in this writ petition.

At this juncture, the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the first petitioner has expired and that the legal heirs seek liberty for renewal of "C" form licence. If at all, the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner have any right to seek for renewal of the "C" form licence, it will be open to them to work out their remedy in accordance with law. It is made clear that this Court does not express any of its views with regard to the renewal of "C" form licence. With the above observation, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
