..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the 3rd respondent in respect of Letter No.C2(2)/3476/10 dated 18.03.2010 and quash the orders caused therein and consequently direct the respondents to pay all the benefits including the family pension and other attendant benefits payable to the petitioner upon the death of her husband as NMR, whose service was regularized by G.O.(MS) No.334 (PW)(C2) Department dated 19.10.2007.

The petitioner, challenging the impugned order dated 18.03.2010, in and by which her application seeking compassionate appointment was rejected by the third respondent, has filed the present writ petition.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo before this Court dated 26.11.2011 stating that there is no instructions from the petitioner, though they have sent intimation regarding the listing of the case and sought status update.
3. The issue involved in the present writ petition has already been dealt with by this Court in W.P.No.12934 of 2010 in respect of similarly placed person and this Court has elaborately considered the issue in the said writ petition and ultimately dismissed the same, vide orders passed today.
4. Following the order passed by this Court today in W.P.No.12934 of 2010 and also taking into record the memo submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
