O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 12.01.2022 passed by this Court in W.P.No.458 of 2022, thereby directing the petitioner to submit an appeal and on receipt of the same directing the respondent to conduct enquiry on the appeal, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and counter parties and after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks thereafter. 2.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the as directed by this Court, the petitioner submitted an appeal and on receipt of the appeal, the respondent issued notice to the petitioner for enquiry. Further, the petitioner appeared before the respondent on 21.02.2023 and sought for 10 days time to file documents and for arguments.

It is seen that on the one hand, the petitioner filed this contempt petition as against the respondent and on the other hand he sought time in the enquiry conducted by the respondent. In view of the above, no contempt is

made out as against the respondent. However, the petitioner is directed to cooperate with the enquiry to be conducted by the respondent and the respondent is also directed to dispose the appeal as expeditiously as possible. 4.
