Originally this petition has been filed as Original Application No.6939 of 1993 before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal at Chennai and after abolition of TNAT, petition has been transferred and numbered as W.P.No.809 of 2006. Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the order of the first respondent passed in his proceedings Na.Ka.No.78417/92/K2 dated 07.10.1993 and also the consequential order passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.C1/5662/90 dated 01.11.1993 and quash the same and consequently direct the first respondent to ratify and continue the petitioner as Bill Collector in the second respondent Municipality.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed calling for the records pertaining to the order of the first respondent passed in his proceedings Na.Ka.No.78417/92/K2 dated 07.10.1993 and also the consequential order passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.C1/5662/90 dated 01.11.1993 and quash the same and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

consequently direct the first respondent to ratify and continue the petitioner as Bill Collector in the second respondent Municipality.

2. It is averred in the writ petition that the petitioner has filed the Original Application before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, Chennai. Subsequently, due to abolition of the Tribunal, this matter was transferred to this Court and renumbered as W.P.No.809 of 2006.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

4. In view of the above submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
