Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the appeal of the petitioner dated 13.02.2020, to re-classify the land of the petitioner measuring 70 cents in Survey No.80/1, Pimash No.389, Senneerkuppam Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Tiruvallur District as Ryotwari Land.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the appeal of the petitioner dated 13.02.2020, to re-classify the land of the petitioner measuring 70 cents in Survey No.80/1, Pimash No.389, Senneerkuppam Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Tiruvallur District as Ryotwari Land.

2.Mr.G.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate entered appearance for the respondent and submitted that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 02.03.2021 at 3.00 p.m at the office of the respondent.

4.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, subject to the period, if any lost for the responsibilities associated with the conduct of the General Elections, 2021. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
