Prayer :- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the Final Statement under Section 11 of the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973 (Act No.9/1974) dated 22.11.2000 issued by the second Respondent and published in the Gazette of Pondicherry No.173, dated 29.12.2000, and quash the same in so far as it is relating to the agricultural lands of the petitioner bearing (i) Cadastre No.1055 Bis 1⁄2, measuring 0.11.26 HAC (out of 0.11.40 HAC), (ii) Cadastre No.1056 Bis 1⁄2, measuring 0.16.05 HAC (out of 0.16.40 HAC) and (iii) Cadastre No.1066 Bis, measuring 0.05.85 HAC in T.N. Palayam Revenue Village, Puducherry.

This Writ Petition is filed to issue a writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the Final Statement under https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Section 11 of the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973 (Act No.9/1974) dated 22.11.2000 issued by the second Respondent and published in the Gazette of Pondicherry No.173 dated 29.12.2000, and quash the same in so far as it is relating to the agricultural lands of the petitioner bearing (i) Cadastre No.1055 Bis 1⁄2, measuring 0.11.26 HAC (out of 0.11.40 HAC), (ii) Cadastre No.1056 Bis 1⁄2, measuring 0.16.05 HAC (out of 0.16.40 HAC) and (iii) Cadastre No.1066 Bis, measuring 0.05.85 HAC in T.N. Palayam Revenue Village, Puducherry.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the second respondent on the representation submitted by him dated 17.10.2008. No order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
