The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 12.03.2002 and representation dated 09.5.2008, within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner may be granted liberty to approach the appellate authority for appropriate remedy.
