ORDER

The petitioner is working as a daily wage driver in the 2nd respondent Office since July 2007. According to the petitioner, he is eligible to be appointed as a regular driver. However, his services were not regularised. In this regard, the petitioner made a representation, dated 13.08.2012, claiming regularization of his services and to pay the wages due to him. But the same was not considered.

2. Mr.R.Neethi Perumal, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner on merits.

3. Since the representation of the petitioner is of the year 2012 and it is pending before the 1st respondent for nearly a decade, the 1st respondent viz., the District Collector, Krishnagiri is directed to consider the representation dated 13.08.2012 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No

costs.
