Mr.K.M.D. Muhilan, Additional Public Prosecutor for R1 Order This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to initiate appropriate action against the respondents 2 to 4 to protect the petitioner and his property.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of 2 acres and 10 cents of lands in Alamathi Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District and he has acquired these properties by spending a considerable amount. The respondents, in order to grab the properties, have created hurdles to the petitioner and filed case after case against the petitioner and they have lost in all the cases. Since

the respondents 2 to 4 continued their harassment, the petitioner sent a representation to the 1st respondent seeking appropriate action. Since no action was initiated by the 1st respondent, to protect the interest of the petitioner, the petitioner has approached this Court.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner sent to the 1st respondent has been forwarded to the Sub Inspector of Police, Sholavaram (Law & Order) Police Station, Chennai, for enquiry in Current Paper No.4518/2025. He would further submit that the Sub Inspector of Police is conducting enquiry and the counter parties 2 to 8 have also given counter complaint against the petitioner before the 1st respondent and the same has also been forwarded in Current Paper No.4633/2025. He would submit that summonses have been issued to both the parties and enquiry would be conducted and closed within a period of four weeks.

4.Hence, the Sub Inspector of Police, Sholavaram (Law & Order) Police Station, Chennai, is suo motu impleaded as the 5th respondent in the proceedings.

5.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is disposed of, with a direction to the 5th respondent to conclude the enquiry in Current Paper Nos.4518 and 4633/2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after summoning both the parties.
