ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner is the sister of the detenu and seeking a direction to the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court pursuant to the case registered for man missing in Cr.No.359 of 2018, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2.It appears that on the earlier occasion, the detenu was found to be missing. A case has been registered in Crime No. 130 of 2018 and thereafter, the detenu was secured. He appears to be a mentally de-ranged person.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the efforts are still on as even on the last occasion, the detenu was secured in a temple at Tiruttani.

4. Considering the above, we direct the second respondent to continue the investigation and make all endeavour to secure the detenu. As and when the detenu is secured, he should be produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
