ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.60 of 2018 on the file of the respondent.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions from Mr.N.Elangovan, AC, Royapettai Range, Chennai, who is present before this Court today, submitted that the investigation in this case has been completed and since the case involves Explosive Substances Act, the respondent-police have sought the necessary statutory sanction from the Government and that the final report will be filed within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of such sanction.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Court directs the respondentpolice to obtain necessary sanction from the Government as expeditiously as possible and consequently, file a final report in Crime No.60 of 2018 within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of sanction.

4. With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
