ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to pass final orders based on the enquiry conducted by the 3rd respondent on 15.04.2025 in his proceedings, dated 08.04.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. Since no adverse order has been passed against the 4th respondent in this writ petition, notice to the 4th respondent is dispensed with by this Court.

3. The petitioner had submitted a representation to the 3rd respondent seeking for transfer of patta in her name from the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition. The 4th respondent is the sister of the petitioner. Since there is a dispute between petitioner and the 4th respondent, the petitioner has arrayed the Page No.2 of 6

4th respondent as party respondent in this writ petition. The petitioner claims that originally the property stood in the name of the petitioner's father and patta also stood in his name. The petitioner seeks for transfer of patta in her name based on the supporting documents filed by her before the 3rd respondent. Since the representation of the petitioner seeking for transfer of patta has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

4. The petitioner also claims that on 15.04.2025, enquiry was conducted by the 3rd respondent on the petitioner's request for transfer of patta in her name. According to the petitioner, despite the same, till date, no final order has been passed by the 3rd respondent.

5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections, if any, from the 4th respondent, the neighbouring land owners and any other third party, whom the 3rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

7. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation, dated 09.12.2024 seeking for transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the 4th respondent, the neighbouring land owners and any other third party, whom the 3rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
