Mrs.P.Kavitha, Governmet Advocate (Education) Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner for promotion to the post of Head Master Panchayat Union Middle School, Badhimadugu, Veppanapalli Block, Krishnagiri District by considering the representation dated 29.11.2018 made by the petitioner with all consequential benefits and in accordance with law within a time to be stipulated.

The grievances of the petitioner is that his name has not been considered for promotion to the post of Head Master https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Panchayat Union Middle School, Badhimadugu, Veppanapalli Block, Krishnagiri District, though he is eligible for the said promotion. In this regard the petitioner made a representation on 17.07.2018 and 12.09.2018 to the respondents, which were not considered. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking appropriate relief.
2. Mrs.P.Kavitha, learned Government Advocate (Education), takes notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.11.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass orders after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
