ORDER

The prayer made in this Writ Petition is to issue a Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection based on his complaint, dated 11.10.2009, to run the Terrace Tea Factory smoothly and sell the manufactured tea in the Tea Trading Centres, Coonoor/Ooty till the investigation is completed by the respondents 1,2 and 3.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected M.P.No.1 of 2009 is closed.
