Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 23.01.2017 made by the petitioner and take appropriate action against the President and Board of Directors and Officials of the 4th respondent Society for recovering the misappropriated amount and to take further action. The prayer in the writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass order on the representation dated 23.01.2017 made by the petitioner

and take appropriate action against the President and Board of Directors and Officials of the 4th respondent Society for recovering the misappropriated amount and to take further action.

2. When the case came up for hearing on the last occasion i.e. on 16.03.2017, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents sought adjournment for getting instruction from the respondents-department. However, no instruction has been received from the respondents till the date.

3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, I am inclined to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.01.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say that the petitioner has to furnish a copy of the said representation dated 23.01.2017 along with the copy of this order.
