This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.195 of 2023 on the file of first respondent.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for second respondent submitted that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties. To substantiate the same, the affidavit of the second respondent along with a memo of compromise has also been filed before this Court. Learned counsel for petitioners also confirmed this fact.

3. Mr.Tamilvannan, Sub-Inspector of Police, F3 Nungambakkam Police Station [94981 30677], was present at the time of hearing.

4. On going through the Memorandum of Compromise, it is seen that the parties have agreed to withdraw the complaint, which is pending investigation in Crime No.195 of 2023.

5. In the light of the above development, no useful purpose will be served in keeping the investigation pending. Hence, in the light of the settlement that has been arrived at by the parties through a Memo of 2/4

Compromise dated 07.02.2024, the First Information Report in Crime No.195 of 2023 on the file of first respondent, is hereby quashed.
