Respondents PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent in Ref.No.19962/SCI(1)/10 dated 23.03.2010 quash the same and consequently quash G.O.D.No.270 Health and Family Welfare Department dated 31.03.2010 passed by the 1st respondent insofar it states that the petitioner is permitted to retire from service on the afternoon of 31.03.2010 without prejudice to the disciplinary action pending against the petitioner, and direct the respondents to grant the petitioner the status of Retired Professor and Head of Department, Periodontics and settle the petitioner's full pension.

The instant writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent in Ref.No.19962/SCI (1)/10 dated 23.03.2010 quash the same and consequently quash G.O.D.No.270 Health and Family Welfare Department dated 31.03.2010 passed by the 1st respondent insofar it states that the petitioner is permitted to retire from service on the afternoon of 31.03.2010 without prejudice to the disciplinary action pending against the petitioner, and direct the respondents to grant the petitioner the status of Retired Professor and Head of Department, Periodontics and settle the petitioner's full pension.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the matter has become infructuous, and she has also made an endorsement to that effect.

In view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
