This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to withdraw the case in D.V.C.No.2738 of 2019 pending on the file of the Hon'ble Additional Mahila Court, Madurai and transfer the same to the Hon'ble Additional Mahila Court, Chennai to be tried and adjudicated before the Hon'ble Additional Mahila Court, Chennai. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the matter has been settled between the petitioner and the respondent by way of Memorandum of Understanding dated 17.08.2020. Accordingly, divorce was granted between the petitioner and the respondent and the marriage between them got dissolved. In one of the clause in the Memorandum of Understanding, the respondent agreed to withdraw the complaint against the petitioner in D.V.C.No.2738 of 2019, pending on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
