Prayer: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mamdamus, calling for the records of respondent in connection with the impugned order passed by him in Na.Ka.No.22733/Rect.1 (2)/09 / 14 dated 09.07.2009 and quash the same and direct the respondent to appoint the petitioner as Grade-1 PC in the T.N. Police Subordinate Service and grant him all consequential service and monetary benefits.

(The case has been heard through video conference) The writ petition has been filed calling for the records of the respondent in connection with the impugned order passed by him in Na.Ka.No.22733/Rect.1(2)/09 / 14 dated 09.07.2009 and quash the same and direct the respondent to appoint the petitioner as Grade-1 PC in the T.N. Police Subordinate Service and grant him all consequential service and monetary benefits.

2. This Court heard Mr.Alagu Gowtham, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K. Magesh, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is no more and death certificate has also been produced to that effect. In view of the same this writ petition is dismissed as abated. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition are closed. No costs.
