The Writ Petition has been filed to respondents 2 & 3 to grant permission and protection for the village cultural Thirukudumuzhukku Temple Festival to be held on 08.02.2023 in Arulmighu Sri Mariamman Koil in New Aathandarkollai Village, Vijayamanagaram (P.O), Virudhachalam, Cuddalore District

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner planned temple festival on 08.02.2023 at Arulmighu Sri Mariamman Koil in New Aathandarkollai Village, Vijayamanagaram (P.O), Virudhachalam, Cuddalore District. Some villagers are trying to obstruct the conduct of temple festival. Petitioner had given representation before the respondent police on 24.01.2023, however, till now, no order was passed. Therefore, present petition is filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that representation dated 24.01.2023 is available with the petitioner, it would be consideration and appropriate orders will be passed.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Court directs the respondent police to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2023 and pass appropriate orders.
