This writ petition has been filed challenging the summons issued by the 1st respondent and directing the petitioner to be present to enquire the complaint that was given by the 2nd respondent. 2.

When the writ petition was entertained, an interim stay was granted in the year 2010.

During the pendency of this writ petition, the parties entered into a compromise and the same was reduced to writing in a compromise deed dated 13.11.2011. The compromise was also produced before this Court. It has been mentioned in this compromise deed that by virtue of compromise between the parties, the complaint that was given to the 1st respondent will also be withdrawn. 2/4

In view of the above development, no useful purpose will be served in keeping the proceedings pending before the 1st respondent. Accordingly, the impugned summons issued by the 1st respondent stands quashed in this writ petition. 5.
