This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.9 of 2023 pending on the file of the first respondent-Police.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent-Police, on instructions, submitted that on completion of investigation in Crime No.9 of 2023 final report was filed before the learned XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.1194 of 2024.

3. Since the first respondent-Police has completed the investigation and filed the final report before the learned Magistrate concerned, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. The petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
