ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records relating to the proceedings of the first respondent herein in Na.Ka.No.A2/5391/2009 dated 12.10.2009 and quash the same.

2. The petitioner is the Vice-President of Malaikottalam Village Panchayat. According to the petitioner, as there were number of fictitious names in the list of labourers to whom, payment has to be made, he refrained himself to sign the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

cheques. However, by the order impugned in the Writ Petition, the first respondent has taken away the cheque signing power of the petitioner and handed over the same to the fourth respondent/Block Development Officer. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition.

3. When the Writ Petition is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the subject matter is pertaining to the year 2009 and as on date, no issue is pending and hence, there is virtually nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected MP is closed.
