ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondent to reset the drinking water tank in the same place at the junction of their street and north street and opposite to kailamman koil as was broken by few rowdy elements for personal reasons.

2. Though there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, the writ petition is taken up for final hearing as no adverse orders are proposed to be passed against the petitioner in the present writ petition.

3. The respondents shall consider the request of the petitioner and cause an inspection and thereafter take steps to reset the drinking water tank that existed at the place where the tank was originally situated. The respondents are therefore directed to take steps within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations and directions. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
