Common Prayer: Petitions filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari calling for the entire records, leading to the passing of the Award in I.D.Nos.31 to 35 of 2000 dated 19.07.2004 on the file of the first respondent herein and quash the same. For Petitioner : Mr.K.Sridhar (in all WPs) For Respondent : Mr.S.Ayyathurai (for R.2) (in all WPs) COMMON ORDER The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner made a submission that a joint memo of compromise was filed by the writ petitioner and the second respondent/workman during the year 2007 itself. A copy of the said joint memo of compromise is perused and the said memo was signed by the respondent and parties on 05.07.2007.

2.The joint memo states that "the dispute has now been amicably settled between the parties and the second respondent has been taken back to service and duly compensated. The second respondent will not make any further claim against the petitioner society". With this memo, it is stated that this settlement out of Court may be recorded and the writ petitions may be disposed of.

3.In view of the said joint memo of compromise, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition and accordingly the writ petitions stand closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
