When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner challenges the promotion given to the fourth respondent and now the petitioner was superannuated in the year 2017. Hence nothing survives in the Writ Petition for further adjudication, and the Writ Petition became infructuous.
