O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the award dated 26.07.2002 of the Labour Court/1st respondent passed in C.P.No.1/98 and the consequential interim order of the Labour Court/1st respondent dated 27.05.2004 passed in I.A.No.371/2004 in C.P.No.1/98.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would state that he had already filed a Review Petition before the Labour against the order under challenge in this writ petition and the same is pending before the Labour Court. He would further state that it would be suffice if a direction is given to the Labour Court to dispose of the review application within a reasonable time.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is 2/4

disposed of, by directing the Labour Court/1st respondent to dispose of the review petition said to have been filed by the petitioner, if it is otherwise in order, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
