ORDER

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the award under challenge in this writ petition dated 04.08.2003 came to be passed in I.D.No.137 of 2000 on the file of Labour Court, Salem. Even though 17 years have been passed by, the 1st respondent has not been served till date.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the 1st respondent is not traceable and that she has also not filed any application for implementation of the award.

3. Considering the submissions, writ petition is dismissed for default with liberty to the petitioner to reopen it as and when the 1st respondent appears before the Labour Court, Salem for implementation of the award. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
