The present Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.11006 of 2012 dated 24.04.2012.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
3. Today, when the Contempt Petition is taken up for consideration, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the above said order of this Court had been complied with by the respondent herein. In proof of which, a copy of the proceedings letter No.8922/Ni.Va.2(2)/2017 dated 03.07.2017 passed by the Page No.2 of 4
respondent/Secretary to Government of Tamil Nadu, School Education Department, Chennai has been produced before this Court after duly serving it on the learned counsel for the petitioners. This Court had also gone through the same.
4. Since the said order of this Court had been complied with by the respondent, nothing further survives for consideration in this Contempt Petition, which is accordingly closed. It is open to the petitioners to challenge the above order and seek necessary relief, if they are so advised, in the manner known to law.
