Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the entire records relating to the impugned order in ITA No.2703/Mds/96 date 27.01.2004 of the 1st respondent and quash the same and direct the first respondent to dispose the matter on merits.

(Order of the Court was made by DR.VINEET KOTHARI, J.) None appeared for the petitioner during the last date of hearing on 11.02.2020 and this Court passed the following order.

"None present for the Assessee. By the impugned order of the ITA dated 27.01.2014, the ITA was also dismissed the appeal of the Assessee for want of prosecution. However, in the interest of justice, we adjourn the case and post it on 20.02.2020 under the category "For Dismissal".

Put up the case on 20.02.2020 under the caption "For Dismissal". If none appears on that day also, this Court may dismiss the case itself for want of prosecution."

2. Today also, none appeared for the petitioner. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution. No costs.
