PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records of the second respondent-Labour Court relating to common order dated 04.08.2003 passed in I.D.No.134/2000 and quash the same as illegal and without jurisdiction.

ORDER

Though the first respondent has been served and her name is printed in the cause list, there is no appearance on her behalf.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo dated 14.03.2022, stating that the first respondent has not taken any steps to enforce the Award and has not evinced interest to pursue the dispute and therefore, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to pursue the same, in case the respondent makes any claim in connection with the present dispute, at a later stage. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The request seems to be reasonable and by taking into account that the respondent has not shown any interest in getting along with the original dispute further, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to file an application seeking for restoration of the same in future. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
