Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Certiorarified mandamus, to call for the records made in No.1078/Ki./C.2/2008 on the file of the fourth respondent herein and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondents to grant increment continuously to the petitioner as per the order dated 14.02.2006.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, placing on record a Proceeding bearing No.61068/EW.2/2008 dated 07.03.2019, issued by the Director General of Police, Chennai, would submit that one increment has been sanctioned for selection grade in the post of Grade I Warder (UG) in respect of the petitioner vide Proceedings No.27948/ SJA/2008 dated 17.05.2010 and the amount recovered was drawn and paid. 2.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, the writ petition stands closed as nothing further survives for adjudication. Consequently, connected M.P. is closed. No costs.
