Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had passed away in November 2020 and that apart, the relief sought for in this writ petition is the transfer order pertaining to the year 2012. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents also submitted that the matter has now become infructuous and nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication.

2. In view of the submission made by either side learned counsel, this writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions is also closed. 08.01.2024 dpq Index :
