ORDER
This writ petition has been filed by the Superintending Engineer, Operation and Maintenance, Mettur Thermal Power Station, Mettur Dam challenging the award passed by the Additional Labour Court, Salem in I.D.No.392 of 2003 dated 4.9.2008, in and by which a direction came to be issued to the petitioner to restore the seniority of the workman Mr.S.Solemn Raja from Serial No.416 to Serial No.149 in the list of seniority maintained by the petitioner. This Court is not able to find any justification whatsoever to entertain the writ petition, in view of the huge and unexplained delay of eight long years to approach this Court, as against the impugned award dated 4.9.2008 passed in I.D.No.392 of 2003 by the first respondent Labour Court. Accordingly, holding the petitioner guilty of long delay, the writ petition is dismissed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
