ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to admit the petitioner for Certificate Verification (CV) to the Direct Recruitment for the post of Block Educational Officer 2018-2019 vide Advertisement No.13/2019 dated 27.11.2019 which was notified by 2nd respondent.

2. The case of the writ petitioner is that she has applied for the post of Block Development Officer under SCA (Women) quota and subsequently, she has appeared for the examination conducted by the 2nd respondent Board on 14.02.2020. In the meantime, the 2nd respondent has published the results in the website of TRB on 21.12.2021. It was found that the petitioner has scored 83.66688 marks in the aforesaid results published by the 2nd respondent Board. Based on the marks obtained in the written examination, the 2nd respondent has called for certificate verification for the selected candidates. But, the writ petitioner belongs to SCA(Women) and her name was not called for by the respondent Board for certificate verification. The allegation made by the petitioner is that one Vanitha, Roll No.19BE011480360, who secured 81.23129 marks was selected by the respondent Board, whereas the petitioner has secured 83.66688. Therefore, the aforesaid results published by the respondent Board is illegal and unconstitutional and the same is liable to be set aside.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent would submit that the 2nd respondent Board has published the revised certificate verification list in the website of TRB on 04.02.2022. It was found that one Sangeetha.P, Roll No.19BEO11336458, who has secured 85.27580 under the SCA W category was called for the certificate verification. Thus, the writ petitioner has not come within the cut off mark under the certificate verification list. Subsequently, the provisional selection has been issued by the 2nd respondent Board on the same day.

4. On going through the averments made in the affidavit, the present controversy arises in respect of SCA(W) quota alone. No other specific contention has been raised in the affidavit filed by the writ petitioner. Therefore, based on the averments in the affidavit and the submission made by the learned Standing counsel for the 2nd respondent Board, there is no merits in the instant writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected writ miscellaneous petitions are closed.
