O R D E R
Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4. Since this writ petition is being disposed of, without affecting the interest of the fifth respondent, notice to the said respondent is dispensed with.
2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to cancel the individual patta granted in favour of the fifth respondent and consequently, seeks for issuance of joint patta, by including the name of the petitioner.
3. Ventilating such grievance, the petitioner has already made a representation on 22.12.2017 to the respondents 1 to 4 and the said representation is still pending. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the third respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.12.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the fifth respondent and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the third respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
