2. The petitioner, alleging interference with the possession, earlier filed a Writ Petition in W.P. No.21509 of 2014 for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take legal action against the illegal acts of fifth respondent's attempt to encroach into the property of the petitioner and to ensure the fundamental rights guaranteed under the Constitution of India. This Court granted an order of interim injunction restraining the respondents from preventing the petitioner from carrying on the construction. Stating that the respondents are preventing the petitioner to carry on construction activities in the property, this Contempt Petition is filed.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Writ Petition was disposed of by this Court on 17.04.2018 after recording the fact that the third respondent in this Contempt Petition has filed a civil suit. 2/3

4. In view of the subsequent developments, this Court is of the view that nothing survives for further consideration in this case. Hence this Contempt Petition is closed.
