Prayer:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of mandamus to direct the second respondent to provide educational loan for petitioner's daughter Lakshmi Priya sum of Rs.3,48,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Forty Eight Thousand only) for four years as per the Bonafide cum fee Estimation certificate, dated 21.08.2019 issued by the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering and Technology, Mamallapuram.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the second respondent to provide educational loan for the petitioner's daughter viz., Lakshmi Priya to pursue her course in B.E. (Computer Science Engineering) at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering and Technology, Mamallapuram, joined during the first academic year 2019-2020.

2. After notice and few adjournments, the matter is taken up for further hearing today. Learned counsel for the respondent Bank submitted that based on the revised bonafide certificate issued by the College dated 27.02.2020, the total amount for the course of Rs.2,38,000/- has been sanctioned as educational loan and the fees for every year will be disbursed by the Bank to the college directly. In support of such contention, the learned counsel for the Bank placed the Bonafide Certificate issued by the College dated 27.02.2020 and also the Branch Sanction Memorandum dated 27.02.2020. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is not disputing the above said fact.

In view of the above stated facts and circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of, by directing the second respondent Bank to disburse the educational loan, as referred to supra to the petitioner's daughter without loss of any time for each year by directly remitting the same to the College. For the first year viz., 2019-2020, the second respondent Bank shall disburse the amount accordingly within a period of seven days. No costs. The connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
