ORDER
Heard Mr.L.P.Shamugasundaram, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.J.Ravindran, learned Additional Advocate General for the respondents. The contemnors are present before this Court.
2. When the matter is taken up today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that apart from Rs.91,000/-, other amounts have not been paid.
3. On a perusal of records, it reveals that when the writ petition came up before this Court at the time of admission, there is suppression of facts on the part of the writ petitioner. The writ petition proceeded as if the writ petitioner has been allowed to retire. Whereas, the proceedings 2/4
produced by the respondents indicate that he was not allowed to retire as an enquiry was pending against him.
3. In such view of the matter, as the petitioner has suppressed material facts, Contempt Petition is not maintainable. Hence, this Contempt Petition is closed.
