Respondent Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records of respondent order Ref.I.B.ADM.EDU:2013-2014 dated 27.07.2013 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to sanction education loan to petitioner as per fees structure of Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology dated 30.09.2011. ORDER

Heard Mr.C.Venkatesan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.J.John Kingslin, appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

2.The petitioner has filed the present writ petition to quash the order of the respondent dated 27.07.2013 by which the respondent has rejected the petitioner's request for grant of educational loan on the ground that the petitioner has secured only 58% and the minimum qualifying percentage for availing the Educational loan is 60%.

3.Learned counsel for the respondent/Bank submitted that the petitioner may be directed to give a fresh application and the same will be considered by the Bank in accordance with the guidelines. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In the instant case, since the petitioner has secured 58% and the petitioner is already undergoing the course and he is in the 4th year, the respondent Bank shall also consider his academic excellency while pursuing the Engineering course and pass orders on his application. The respondent Bank shall pass such orders on the petitioner's application within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
