Today, when the Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the writ petition in W.P.No.30063 of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Contempt Petition No.1401 of 2015 2014 itself was allowed and the award dated 24.06.2014 passed in ID.No.32 of 2013 on the file of the Labour Court, Cuddalore, has been set aside by order dated 08.11.2019. The respondent in the writ petition has filed the above Contempt Petition for the disobedience of the interim order passed in the writ petition. Since the writ petition was decided against the contempt petitioner, I do not find any reason to entertain the Contempt Petition. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
