ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings FIR in Crime No.17 of 2018 pending on the file of All Women Police Station, Pollachi.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the the respondent police have registered a case against the petitioner in Crime No.17 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 294(b) and Section 4 of the Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002. Hence the petitioner sought for allowing this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent police have already filed a final report and had been taken up for cognizance in C.C.No.17 of 2018 pending on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the file of All Women Police Station, Pollachi and hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous. However, the liberty is granted to the petitioner to file challenge the final report.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
