This writ petition has been filed directing the the respondents not to conduct an enquiry in connection with the proceedings in Memo NO.T-4/26-D/95 (SCN - XXX) dated 18.06.1999 pending disposal of above writ petition and to issue a writ of mandamus forbearing the respondents from conducting an enquiry in pursuance of letter dated 06.11.2008 in connection with the proceedings in memo No. T-4/26-D/95 (SCN - XXX) dated 18.06.1999 and further proceedings.

2. Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the impugned order, final order was passed in the proceedings, hence nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
