The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the Deputy Inspector General of Police/respondent herein to keep the disciplinary proceedings in C.No.J1/PR/67/09 dated 03.09.2009 in abeyance, pending disposal of the criminal case in Spl.C.C.No.193/2007 on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Special Judge, Erode. 2.Mr.K.Venkatramani, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner has fairly submitted that the prayer in the Writ Petition has become infructuous, since the petitioner has lost the criminal case, which ended in conviction and as a result, she cannot continue her service.

3.Recording the same, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
