This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 24.11.2022, wherein, the petitioner has sought for compassionate appointment in the place of her deceased husband, who was working as a sweeper in the Government's Boys Higher Secondary School and died on 06.11.2017.
2.When the matter was taken up for admission, the learned Government advocate based on the instructions received from the CEO, Namakkal submitted that the application submitted by the petitioner is already under consideration and there are totally 1692 persons, who died in harness and the compassionate appointments sought for is being considered on year basis. It is seen from the instructions that the respondents are in the process of considering the
compassionate appointment for the year 2015 and the husband of the petitioner had died in the year 2017. As and when the respondents start the process of granting compassionate appointment by considering those who died in the year 2017, the application given by the petitioner will also be considered and necessary orders will be passed.
3.The written instructions received from the CEO, Namakkal and the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate are recorded 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 30.01.2023 Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes Speaking Order/Non-Speaking Order : Yes/No KP
