This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the complaint against the said Uma Maheswari on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner to the respondents dated 05.11.2015 and investigate the matter in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint of Uma Maheswari, a case was registered in crime No.10/2015 under Section 294(b), 417 IPC by the All Women Police Station, T.Nagar, Chennai. So, the complaint preferred by the petitioner against the said Uma Maheswari to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the second respondent was also transferred to the All Women Police Station, T.Nagar and the same is also under investigation. Hence, The Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, T.Nagar, Chennai is directed to conduct enquiry and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)]..

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
